Had a brilliant day ! didn't wimp out today, Was first time Ive sailed
small board (small for me anyway 112lt) I know its not small for most
people here but its a big step from my 283 techno a drop of nearly 40
lts.
The wind was realy strong today was over powered when the wind got up on
5.3 but thats the smallest sail i own so had to use it Can feel a shopping
trip coming on soon.
The smaller board is so much quicker than the bigger one was a bit scary at
times would have liked the wind to be a bit less to ease me into it gently
but I guess it wouldn't of been so easy to get going. Water starting was so
much easier on the smaller board. Managed just the one big caterpult came
down on the board a bit heavy lucky was wearing boyancy aid so that took
all the force out of it. Had a good blast back and forth didn't go for any
gybes I was just stoked that I was on the smaller board didn't want to push
things too much
If I was a better sailer this would have been five stars!
